These artifacts were collected in a river bed near ground zero of the atomic bomb explosion and we originally distributed by Hiroshima University’s Association for Sending Atomic-bombed Roof Tiles in order to perpetuate awareness of the devastating effects of the atomic bombings in Japan

This is a very nice service worn example of a genuine early WWII Issue U. S. Army M1 Helmet, with a nice helmet net. The U. S. WWII M 1 helmet was only produced from 1941 to 1945. The first production batch resulted with over 323,510 M 1 helmets before the start of the American involvement in the war. This helmet is heat lot stamped, however we cannot find one due to the liner rub marks and how lightly stamped it
