Quite a lady she must have been with all of her finery

I might guess there was one a second carving of this man's wife facing in the opposite direction that hung beside it

and its treatment looks to me to include freehand painting

and to me eye a pretty great looking thing

so I'm not certain of their origins

There is a bit of variation in the size of the pin heads here but the cube, apart from the bottom side, is entirely filled, making it especially excellent looking. 2 1 8"" cubed and in very good condition.
