whichI hope might find its way back to a historic Hudson River Valley home or estate

and I really like the three little buttons near the lip

stable and pretty sturdy

Jointed Little Piggy in the Schoenhut Manner carved wood feet but that has lead meI found this little pig sitting next to a Schoenhut donkey on a shelf, and it may be too, but most Schoenhut pigs I have seen have leather ears; I can't find another one anywhere out there exactly like this one, Whatever the case, a pretty sweet little piggy I think, with moveable head and legs, threaded with elastic inside, and a rope tail. 1920s 30s or so would be my guess. 3 3 4" l x 1 1 8" w x 2" t and in very good condition, with light wear.
