This is a very nice WWII German Wehrmacht (Heer) Left Facing Eagle Aluminum EM NCO's Belt Buckle (Koppelschlo). These buckles, with the eagle facing left instead of right, were only made for a short time at the very beginning of Heer buckle production, and only represent a tiny fraction of Heer buckles produced. The buckle is embossed with the Heer motto GOTT MIT UNS ("God (is) with us") around the Wehrmacht
