This is one of our original WWII issue MG34 display machine guns. As with many MG 34 and 42 machine guns, it was sold off after WWII, and entered the worldwide arms trade. This often resulted in markings being changed, stamped through, or in this case, completely removed, or scrubbed. This would hide the origin of the machine gun, and also removed the NSDAP symbols that are universally offensive symbols of hate. The
