After buying and selling a drawing by the same artist as this one a few weeks ago

I would guess that this goose has just swallowed a fish

with some numbers and shapes still visible on one side

Marked Clinton near the end of the handle

stands up on its own on its flat end

I love her in all of her finery, finely rendered in black ink. Makes me think a bit of Aubrey Beardley's women from the same era. Signed E. Miller (I believe that is an E) and dated Feb. 86 at lower left. 5 1 2" x 3 1 2". Good condition, mounted to backing paper, as found, with a few scattered small stains toning and a bit of glue stain at top left
