This is a beautiful classic Nickel Plated Imperial German WWI Presentation sword, made by the Solingen based firm of Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie. It conforms roughly to the M1852 79 Cavalry Sword pattern, with a lovely steel basket hilt.
