This is most a most appealing flintlock pistol, and is of really good quality, perhaps using some western European parts, specifically the butt cap. Very nicely carved wood stock simulating late 17th and early 18th century Italian French pistols. The brass mounts and the butt cap, although worn, are of very ornate design.
