American mid-century pottery and this Janus faced pieceI couldn't resist this one, which seems a metaphor for many things, with this cow and then horse, too, turning the tables on this man who, one assumes, is the master of the estate. I think to a contemporary eye this might be interpreted in all sorts of ways.
