SOLD 1880s Monogrammed Tin Painter's Box with Palette, Brushes, and Watercolor Tin wooden figure which I know from a

which I know from a few others of his dates to the 1830s or so

And this is just a stunner I think

a few very minor dings here and there and overall aging to the copper

but it is easy to open and see

presumably antique condition

SOLD 1880s Monogrammed Tin Painter's Box with Palette, Brushes, and Watercolor Tin wooden figure which I know from aFound at a crazy old antique junk shop in central MA on my way back from Brimfield (where it might have been sitting for years) and listed exactly as I found it. Handpainted monogram FHB in excellent silver lettering on the lid of painter's box,and the box with a patent date of what looks to me to read 1884. Happily with this great old wooden palette still inside, which slides into a front opening compartment or can be laid flat on top the tray
