This is a very nice 20th Century Naval Dirk, which is somewhere between an dagger and a short sword. These are usually given to cadets when they are in the academy, or to junior officers when they receive their first commission. This example comes from the Republic of Argentina, and is from the second half of the 20th century. It features a 14 3 4" round pointed blade, and has an attractive eagles head pommel, with a
