For example, a spectator is asked to think of a symbol, a number, or something similar and write it down on a piece of paper for review. They are then asked to fold the piece of paper and put it in their pocket. The performer now draws a "receiver" on a piece of paper and holds it toward the audience. The audience is then supposed to transmit their imaginary symbol (etc.) to the receiver through mere concentration. After a short time, the
