It is a heavy duty contractor torch for use with acetylene gas. It also work with propane, just by changing the cutting tip. The torch comes with a Harris style 6290 1 cutting tip that will cut up to 1" thick plate steel with acetylene and oxygen. It is capable of cutting up to 6" thick steel with larger tips.
