Likely of French manufacture, a large silver gilt decoration presenting a cross with white, red and blue enamelled arms, the obverse medallion features a Gold centerpiece with a crown and DI cypher below on a red enamelled field, encircled by a red enamelled ring with the inscription (For the Independence of Montenegro), again surrounded by a white enamel ring, the reverse
