It has a full 360 degree horizontal range with up to a 90 degree tilt, allowing you to shoot horizontal or vertical. Do not expect miracles there's a lot of soft plastic here, and the finishing quality can charitably be described as "sufficient" but this head should be suitable for smaller to mid sized cameras. Camera mounting
