An Officers Belt Buckle c.1940s-1950s Auction Archive enamel chipping evident on theRepublic of Cuba officers belt buckle, gilt brass rectangular buckle with rounded corners, the obverse featuring a silvered colour metal applied Cuban national emblem consisting of a Phrygian cap above shield and fasces motif within an oval border, the reverse retaining its original attachment hardware and belt catch assembly, exhibiting oxidation, verdigris, surface wear, scratches, and age related patina throughout, measuring 70 mm x 50. 6 mm.
