Type I (1881 1941). Multi piece construction, in silver gilt with red and white enamels, royal crown on the obverse centrepiece, measuring 61 mm (w) x 61 mm (h), chipping and loss evident in the white enamels on the obverse and reverse centrepiece rings, and in the red enamels on the arm at 3 o'clock on the obverse, on its frayed original full length neck ribbon, fine.
