1847 Seated Liberty Dollar - About Uncirculated Details 2C 870 - Very Good(cleaned, environmental damage) This coin was black when it came in today. Looking at it under glass I could tell their was already environmental damage occurring in the obverse right field. In this case, a good cleaning was pretty much required to remove the black toning and arrest the surface damage. All that said, it is sharp! The reverse probably could have been left as is but the whole coin would have looked weird. As it is it will make a great
