Germany, Wehrmacht. A German Cross In Gold, Light Version With Case, By C.f. Zimmermann Newly Listed the flagpole topper(Deutsches Kreuz in Gold mit Etui). Constructed of gilded and silvered cupal with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a double overlaid eight pointed starburst executed with a silvered and patinated finish, surrounding a central silvered disc, overlaid by a black enameled mobile swastika, set within a circular gilded laurel leaf wreath wrapped in ribbon and joined together at the bottom by a plaque bearing a date of 1941, in turn trimmed
