It features a 22 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains factory original sharpening to the edges and tip. Acid etched onto the obverse is an inscription of MEINE EHRE HEIT TREUE (MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY) in Fraktur script, while the reverse ricasso bears a makers mark of GOTTLIEB
