It covers all of Scotland from the Orkney Islands to Wigtown in the south, including the Hebrides or Western Isles. The Shetland and Orkney Islands are detailed in insets in the lower left and upper right quadrants respectively. This map also identifies various cities, towns, forts, rivers, rapids, mountain passes, fords, and an assortment of additional topographical details.
