Baden, Grand Duchy. An Officer’s Long Service Class, Ii Class, Type Ii Miniature GTRexclude dated 1941 on the obverse(Dienstauszeichnung II. Klasse fr Offiziere, Miniatur). Instituted 18 February 1831 by Grand Duke Leopold. (1854 1918 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze with silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with pebbled arms, overlaid by a silver Baden griffin clutching a sword and shield bearing the Grand Duchys coat of arms, unmarked, measuring 23. 18 mm (w) x 26. 45 mm (h), weighing 6. 3
