Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a monogram of Prince Heinrich XIV, the reverse with a central inscription of FR VERDIENST (FOR MERIT) inside of a laurel wreath, unmarked, measuring 32. 67 mm in diameter, weighing 17. 0 grams, in better than very fine condition.
