Apache Plume Berries Leaves are aromatic when crushedFallugia paradoxa Apache Plume is a deciduous, upright shrub native to arid habitats including desert woodlands and scrub in west Texas and much of the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. Leaves are green on top and silvery on the bottom and grow on densely intermingled slender branches. White, apple blossom like flowers loom in spring and summer and give way to pink, feathery seed plumes. Grows best in dry, gravelly, sandy soils. It will
