Constructed of an oval aluminum oak and laurel wreath, tied together at the base using three ribbons, with an eagle clutching a mobile swastika superimposed on the badge; the reverse plain, with two rivets for attachment of the eagle to the wreath; with a vertical pinback, an integrated hinge, and a crimped round wire catch; maker marked with the logo of Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid and DRGM on the reverse; measuring 42. 86 mm
