A Leiva Infantry Academy Medal Auction measuring 74 mm (w) xIn bronze, obverse illustrating a Spanish Conquistador and inscribed "LEIVA", reverse illustrating an infantry insignia consisting of a stylized "I" framed within the loop of a bugle, backed by crossed rifles and branches of laurel leaves, the bugle surmounted by the Royal crown, a plaque below inscribed "8 DICIEMBRE 1907" (December 8, 1907), with a branch of laurel leaves extending below the plaque, faintly hand engraved "13 5 08" above the crown,
