A 168Th Infantry Battalion Officer's Cap Badge Auction 229" stampedTwo piece construction, the "168" designation in silver, mounted to a pickled copper maple leaf base, measuring 37 mm (w) x 40. 2 mm (h), both lugs intact, the tip of the leaf at the lower left bent back slightly, very light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Oxford County, Ontario with mobilization headquarters at Woodstock under the authority of G. O. 151, December 2, 1915. The Battalion sailed from Halifax, Nova
