A 149th Infantry Battalion "Lambton Battalion" Cap Badge, Type I with "Rams Head" Newly Listed marked ИД (Itska Lozinsky)In pickled brass, unmarked, measuring 42. 8 mm (w) x 44 mm (h), both lugs intact, scattered wear in the pickled finish, very light contact, better than very fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Lambton County, with mobilization headquarters at Watford, under the authority of G. O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed March 28, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel G. G. C. Kelly with a strength of 18 officers and 439 other ranks.
