Germany, Ss. A Ss-Issued Patriotic Badge By Otto Gahr, With Case United Republic of proceeding to RAF Dunsfold(SS Abzeichen). This is an extremely unique and well preserved example of a SS issued decorative gift badge by Otto Gahr, constructed of silver. The obverse depicts a central, richly detailed ship with crew visible on the deck and sails deployed, on top of stylized waves. The ship is in turn circumscribed by a detailed wave design. The reverse is plain with the exception of engraved double sig runes of the SS, a barrel hinge, a horizontal pinback, and
