Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Toronto, Ontario under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed May 3, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel T. H. Lennox with a strength of 27 officers and 686 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was broken up and absorbed into the 2nd and
