A set of insignia for a Saxon Pickelhaube, including a plate, constructed of matte grey magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an eight pointed radiant star, overlaid by a central crowned and wreathed Saxon coat of arms, the reverse with dual lugs and a visible pin securing the obverse applique in place, unmarked, measuring 108 mm (w) x 112 mm (h), moderate oxidation is evident throughout and the plate is missing a ray
