A Destroyer War Badge, By Schwerin & Söhne consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac the Corps of Royal Canadian(Zerstrerkriegsabzeichen). Constructed of gilded and silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, around a central depiction of a destroyer cutting through waves, the reverse with a block hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, topped by a stabilizer, maker marked SCHWERIN, BERLIN, measuring 45. 33
