A Second Republic Star, in silver gilt and enamels, a four armed red enamel star with ball finials and clusters of seven smooth rays in each quadrant, obverse medallion is beautifully hand painted insignia of the order, surrounded by a green enamelled wreath with a white enamel banner inscribed A LA LEALTAD ACRISOLADA POR ISABEL LA CATOLICA (To Pure Loyalty, For Isabel the
