Germany, Wehrmacht. A Close Combat Clasp, Bronze Grade, By Friedrich Linden Hold measuring 106 mm (w) x(Nahkampfspange in Bronze). Constructed of bronze zink, the obverse consisting of a central square oak leaf wreath, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, with a magnetic metal backplate, flanked on each side by four acorns and sun rays with dual acorns, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal banjo style pinback meeting a flattened catch, bearing the remnants of a designer mark of
