FASSINO TORINO"" on the reverse, 33 mm (w) x 44. 5 mm (h), original ribbon, intact enamels, extremely fine. Footnote: The 3rd Army Commemorative Cross was instituted as early as 1919, one of a number of Army Crosses to commemorate participation in the First World War. It was unusual in being issued officially and at the expense of the Duke of Aosta, its commander. The Third Army had a great success on
