A miniature circular Medal in silver gilt, with obverse in blue enamels featuring a castle with the inscription SUFRIMIENTO POR LA PATRIA (Suffering for the Homeland), with an encircled chain on a white enameled background, surrounded by a gilt laurel wreath, reverse with buttonhole for attachment, measuring 16. 22 mm diameter, near to mint.
