Obverse centre shows coat of arms of Peru within red and white enamelled ring with EL SOL DEL PERU 1824, surrounded by laurel ring, vertical pinback flanked by dual stays, reverse cartouche denotes CASA NACIONAL DE MONEDA LIMA PERU as the manufacturer, measures 79 mm, enamels intact, very fine condition. Accompanied by a purple ribbon boutonniere. Contained in original case of issue, red leatherette exterior marked with
