Constructed of silvered and patinated bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, with two visible rivets holding the obverse eagle in place, unmarked, measuring 65. 19 mm (w) x 53. 09 mm (h), weighing 45. 2 grams, in extremely fine condition.
