Constructed of nickel silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central crown circumscribed by an inscription of TREUE DIENSTE BEI DER FAHNE (FAITHFUL SERVICE TO THE FLAG), the reverse with a number 9 in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 30. 90 mm in diameter, weighing 11. 7 grams, in extremely fine
