consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms set within a ribbed frame

Russia, Imperial. An Elisavetgrad Cavalry School Graduation Badge Newly Listed As a decorative pieceInstituted in 1865. In bronze, obverse shows two crowned eagles, centre shows horseman, reverse with bolt and nut, 33. 7 mm (h) x 39. 3 mm (w), very fine condition. Footnote: The badge was awarded to graduates at the Russian Imperial Elisavetgrad Cavalry School. At the end of 1917, the Elisavetgrad Cavalry College was disbanded.
