Germany, Imperial. A Flier’s Commemorative Badge, By C.e. Juncker Auction Archive measuring 25 mm (w) x(Flieger Erinnerungsabzeichen). Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a semi hollow German State Crown, around a central eagle set over a hollow background, just above a rural landscape, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked but with the physical characteristics of manufacture by C. E.
