Constructed of zink, vertical pinback, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, tied together at the bottom by a bowtie, topped by a SA style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, with a central inscription of SA TREFFEN BRAUNSCHWEIG 17. OKTOBER 1931, the reverse with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code M1 35 for Wchtler & Lange, Mittweida, measuring 36. 52 mm (w) x 52.
