Germany, Third Reich. An Early Sturmabteilung (Sa) Kepi Auction Archive a revolt that broke out(Sturmabteilung Kppi). An example of an early style SA kepi, this light brown cap features stitched sidewalls and a well preserved leather chin strap which rests upon the protruding visor. The chinstrap is composed of two pieces: the two ends are held together via a rectangular metal loop in the centre, with each strap having its own adjustable buckle and is held in place on the sides by dark brown posts. A dark brown leather sweatband spans the
