2020 Domaine du Meix Foulot Mercurey “Saumonts” Holiday here we areA two century old family domaine that was the first in Mercurey to control yields through green harvesting, and the most "feminine" premier cru in their range. Wild raspberry, redcurrant, and floral notes on the nose give way to a fresh, lightly tart palate of fine, elegant tannins destined to evolve toward spice with age. Cte Chalonnaise at its most charming and precise. Plays well with roast lamb, duck, or salmon.
